Putin: Russia to pay attention to CIS economic relations deepening
ST. PETERSBURG, Dec 26 (PRIME) -- Russia plans to pay closest attention to deepening of economic relations, when it chairs the CIS in 2024, President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday.
"We will naturally pay closest attention to further strengthening of the CIS economic cooperation. The trade volume between our states has demonstrated stable growth this year. It grew by 2% to U.S. $83.7 billion, according to data for the 10 months," Putin said.
The president also said that Russia would continue to cooperate with the partners in the CIS in order to make transition to mutual settlements in the national currencies faster.
